The Five Skandhas are all empty.

The four substances (earth, water, fire, wind) are all empty.
大众当悟：苦、空、无常、无我。
All of you should perceive: suffering, emptiness, impermanence, non-self.

Who Will Come With Him

The silence one is also telling something.
The inaction one is also performing.
The non-practice one is also cultivating.
时时与佛相应
时时得佛加持
Always be responding to the gods.
Always have the gods blessing.
有弟子：最近常感觉到一些画面 是我幻想吗？昨晚我就感觉到有很多水 淹没了房屋
Some disciples said: recently I’ve always sensed some pictures, is that my fantasy? Last night, I felt that a lot of water flooded the houses.
师父：弟子 不著相 不动心。
Osifu: My disciple! Don’t be attached to the outer forms, keep your heart unmoving.
看到什么、听到什么，不去管它。
No matter what you see or hear, ignore them!
凡所有相皆是虚妄
若见诸相非相 则见如来。
All the forms are false and illusory.
If one sees all forms as non-forms, then one sees the Thus Come One.
即使，有时接受到一些灾劫信息，
也不要动心，更不可张扬。
安心修行即可。
Even if sometimes you receive some information about the devastating disasters, keep your heart firm and unmoving, moreover, don’t spread it.
Keep practicing at peace and easy.

人间好玩儿不？
Is it fun in the mundane land?
都好玩儿，就怕玩儿不起。

Understand your mind and discover your Buddha Nature!
父母未生之前我是谁？
Who I am before parents were not born?
拖死尸的是谁？
Who is the one dragging a dead body?
醒来吧！
Wake up!
归来吧！
Come back!
回家吧！
Go home!
转眼越千年换了人间
再来觅师父
人船皆不见
In an instant, a millennium has passed in the mortal world, at that time when you come to looking for Osifu, you will find nobody and no craft.

Real Home

It seems all human beings like the spring.
但喜欢春天的不仅仅有人类
But it is not only the human beings who like the spring.
你们听到了春雷
You’ve heard the spring thunder.
人类似乎不喜欢春雷
It seems that the human being don’t like spring thunder.
但不喜欢春雷不仅仅有人类
But it is not only the human beings who don’t like the spring thunder.
时空就是这样
So is the time and space.
该怎样她就怎样
She does what she is.
你或者有权利评判、有权利指手画脚、有权利干涉
You may have the right to judge, you may have to right to find fault of it, and you may have the right to intervene in it.
后来你会发现,多数情况下，你很徒劳
But later you will find, in most of the cases, you are in vain.
顺应了宇宙规律、自然法则、人体运行规律，你就会尝到一点甜头儿You will taste a little of sweetness if you comply with the cosmic law, the principles of the nature, and the operational rules of the human body.
违背了宇宙规律、自然法则、人体运行规律，你就会尝受到足够的惩罚
You will receive sufficient penalty if you violated the cosmic law, the principles of the nature, and the operational rules of the human body.
宇宙是无我的、无私的、无言的
The Universe is no ego, is selfless and wordless.
自然是无我的、无私的、无言的
The nature is no ego, is selfless and wordless.
人体是无我的、无私的、无言的
The human body is no ego, is selfless and wordless.
学道、修道、悟道、证道、行道、合道。
We should study the Way, cultivate the Way, realize the Way, attain the Way, practice the Way and be the Way itself.
学法、修法、悟法、证法、行法、合法。
We should study the Dharma, cultivate the Dharma, realize the Dharma, attain the practice the Dharma and be the Dharma itself.
学规律、修规律、悟规律、证规律、行规律、合规律。
We should study the law, cultivate the law, realize the law, attain the law, practice the law and be the law itself.
学法则、修法则、悟法则、证法则、行法则、合法则。
We should study the principles, cultivate the principles, realize the principles, attain the principles, practice the principles and be the principles itself.
今天，讲了些 看似 很新，实则 很老套东西。
Today, Osifu has expounded something seemingly new, but actually very old-fashioned.
说她新，是因为 说法新颖。
Saying it new is because it was expounded in a new way.
说她老，是因为 一直这样。
Saying it old is because it always has been going in this way.
一切问题的根源在于：
违背了宇宙规律；
违背了自然法则；
违背了人体运行规律。
The source of all problems lies in:
It has violated the cosmic law.
It has violated the law of nature.
It has violated the operational rules of the human body.
解决一切问题的办法在于：
顺应宇宙规律；
顺应自然法则；
顺应人体运行规律。
Method to solve all problems lies in:
Comply with the cosmic law.
Conform to the law of nature.
Conform to the operational rules of the human body.
在 宇宙规律面前，没有了宗教色彩；
在 自然法则面前，没有了种族色彩；
在 人体运行规律面前，没有了门派色彩。
宇宙规律，没有任何色彩；
自然法则，没有任何色彩；
人体运行规律，没有任何色彩。
There is no religion difference in front of the cosmic law.
There is no racial color in front of the law of nature.
There is no sectarian difference in front of the operational rules of the human body.
There is no color in front of the comic law.
There is no color in front of the law of nature.
There is no color in front of the operational rules of the human body.
有人问宇宙间谁最大？
师父会回答：宇宙规律最大。
Some people ask who is the greatest in the Universe.
Osifu would answer that the cosmic law is the greatest.
有人问自然界谁最大？
师父会回答：自然法则最大。
Some people ask who is the greatest in nature.
Osifu would answer that the law of nature is the greatest.
有人问人体什么最大？
师父会回答：人体运行规律最大。
Some people ask what is the greatest in human body.
Osifu would answer that the operational rules of the human body is the greatest.
还有比回归本元更重要的事吗？
还有比出离轮回更重要的事吗？
还有比究竟解脱更重要的事吗？
还有比自在无碍更重要的事吗？
Is there anything more important than returning the true self?
Is there anything more important than getting rid of the death and rebirth cycle?
Is there anything more important than attaining complete liberation and freedom?
Is there anything more important than absolute ease?
众生颠倒

众生痴迷

轮回众生
Sentient beings are upside-down
Upside-down sentient beings
Sentient beings are infatuated.
Infatuated sentient beings
Transmigrated sentient beings
众生呀众生，不求出离，妄执沉沦；
众生呀众生，不求正法，自作聪明；
众生呀众生，不求菩提，害己害人；
All the living beings, they don’t seek for getting out of the life and death prison but cling to their own delusions and have themselves reduced.
All the living beings, they don’t seek for the Proper Dharma but think themselves clever.
All the living beings, they don’t seek for the Bodhi fruit but harm themselves as well as others.
学佛 是 智信，不是迷信。
障碍 因为执著，不执著 就一切无碍。
Learning gods Dharma is a wise choice but not superstition.
The obstacles are because of one’s persistence. Everything will be all right if one gets detached from his persistence of something.
修行路上 是 大浪淘沙 浪里淘金呀！
On the way of self-cultivation and practices, it is somewhat like big wave washing out the sands and seeking for gold out of huge waves.
重重考验
烈火之中生金莲
There are numerous tests.
A gold lotus is born of burning fire.
道心退转，执著五欲六尘 也是有的。

My disciples! Never pursue for the supernatural powers.

Don’t attach to any outer form; don’t be tempted by any illusions.
Cultivating mind is the first priority.

His Heart Was Kept Unmoving

Suffering is actually the blessing when one has chance to cultivate true self under the help of false self.
The pure light of jade is turning up with cutting and rubbing.
It's like the precious pearl in saint's arms.
Although staying in this turbid world, the mind always keeps unmoving.

Some disciple said: Master’s wonderful text Prajna, I can hardly express my respect in heart.

其女儿灵照最后归纳说：“不难也不易，饥来吃饭困来眠。”
Pang Yun lay Buddhist said: “it is so difficult, like spreading out a load of sesame on a tree.”
His wife broke in saying: “it is so easy that the patriarch’s true intention lies in head of the grass.”
His daughter Lin Zhao concluded: “it is neither difficult nor easy, having meals when one is hungry and going to sleep when one is sleepy.”

Higher dimensional enlightened beings arranged for 〇sifu to preach down to the south on Dec. 22nd. At 13:15 on that day 〇sifu met the greeting from southern disciples and predestined friends, and the time is just the midpoint time of winter solstice, 13:30, when we walked out of the airport terminal building.

The source is endless and remotely empty.
Pick it conveniently to the mundane world and have a smell,
One loud sneeze can shake the galaxies.

Make Your Own Mind to Achieve 〇

佛子顶礼天外天，宙心老人笑捋髯。
The Buddhists pay homage to the Deva-beyond-deva(highest heaven).
The old men of cosmic center stroke beard with smile.
孺子可教佛心安，不诚怎堪得真传？
You youth are worth educating and Buddhas are contented. How can you inherit the true teachings without sincerity?
无上至宝宙心源，波波能量源不断。
The supreme treasure comes from cosmic center, which gives off waves of energy continually.
万金不卖赠亲缘，不知珍惜不能宣。
They are presented to relatives while can't be purchased by ten thousand pieces of gold. It cannot reveal to those who doesn't cherish them.
佛子灵子至心虔，有感有应天开眼。
If gods and living beings pray with sincere minds, there must be response arising from their calls because Heaven’ eyes are open.
人心人脑乱乱乱，佛心道心同心圆。
Although human minds and brains are so confused, both Buddha's mind and Tao's are like a concentric circle. 同心同体同运转，同波同频同升天。
They are running together in one-hearted and consubstantial manner and ascending together with the same wave and same frequency. 法船虽幻真心观，能量风暴三界显。
Although the Dharma Boat is illusory, you should observe it with true mind because energy storm has appeared in three realms. 若无因缘至诚感，亿灵何处见法船？
If there weren’t the needed causes and conditions as well as utmost sincere petitions, where could millions of living being find the Dharma Boat?
救拔超度时空点，神佛慈悲〇师演。
At the spatiotemporal stage of salvation, 〇sifu performs the compassion of Deities and Buddhas. 若无因缘至诚感，亿灵如何得救援？
If there weren’t the needed causes and conditions as well as utmost sincere petitions, how could all sentient beings be saved and rescued?
尔等妄执不周全，众灵苦海泪如泉。
You are so half-baked in false attachment that the dropping tears of the living beings in suffering are like fountain. 险失良机错因缘，一错百错难见天。
You nearly missed the golden opportunity. It would be difficult to see the heaven after making one mistake and hundreds of mistakes later. 老人计议献策三，〇师还需自决断。
The old men discussed and presented three suggestions, but still need Osifu to make the final decision. 老人今日密言传，儿孙各自心灵安。
Today, the old men disclosed esoteric messages, so you sons and grandsons should set your hearts at ease mentally and spiritually.
计议半日无论断，顺水推舟巧行船。
Since there is no settlement after discussing for half a day, it would be better to push the boat following the current to make it sail easily. 天上人间皆周全，好人好做恶人难。
It is unavoidable to offense someone to settle both the heaven and the world perfectly and thoroughly, so it would be easy to be a non contentious person. 也罢也罢〇师断，也罢也罢吐真言。
Well, all right, let 〇sifu decides. Well, all right, 〇sifu tells the truth. 我佛慈悲古亦然，降格以求度良贤。
Our Buddhas has always been compassionate since ancient times, settling for a second best in order to rescue able and virtuous persons. 若非时空急转换，怎会妙宝洒人间。
If the space-time wasn’t transforming rapidly, how could wonderful treasures be sprinkled all over the world? 若非天门洞开限，怎会大道直指玄。
If not the terminable time of the heavenly gate opening, how could the great Way point to the secret directly? 若非运行至关键，怎会至珍不值钱。
If not operating to the crucial point, how could the supreme treasure be undervalued?
若非〇师发大愿，怎会法船周游遍。
If not 〇sifu arousing great vows, how could the Dharma Boat travel all over places?
若非皆是至亲缘，怎会共鸣真情宣。
If all of us weren’t dearly close, how could we resonate and express the true love?
佛子灵子听令前，如律如令勿迟延。
The Buddhists and living beings listen to the order. Don't delay any time and take it as the decree and command. 法船不日至草原，化度亿灵归家转。
The Dharma Boat will arrive at the grassland in a day to save and rescue sentient beings to return home.
勿痴勿迷勿贪恋，机缘错过难再现。
Don't be foolish, delusional and greedy because the golden chance would be hard to come again if you missed it. 时节因缘如闪电，稍纵即逝莫怨天。
Don't complain about the heaven because causes and conditions are just like fleeting lightening. 看破放下汇站点，秉承接引速登船。
See through and put down, and gather at the station. Board the boat quickly under its acceptance and guidance. 登船度过阴阳涧，乘舟永登解脱岸。
Go on board to sail through the gully of Yin and Yang. Reach the shore of liberation by this boat forever. 佛子灵子净心观，依教奉行不退转。
The gods and living beings should observe with pure mind, practicing according to the teachings, and don't backslide.
救人度人功果建，重塑金身莲台站。
Accumulate merits and virtues by saving and rescuing people. Mold the golden body once again and stand on the lotus throne. 天河大会亿灵欢，欢聚一堂祥和天。
All beings will be delighted on the Great Assemble of Milk Way and enjoy a happy get-together in the auspicious universe.
此经此文世间鲜，〇师真心自流宣。
The sutra and words are seldom seen in the world, which are flowing naturally from 〇sifu's true heart. 今日奉与众有缘，慈悲无量爱无边。
Today, it is presented to all predestined friends with limitless compassion and boundless love. 时至子时夜寂然，佛子灵子仍在线。
Now it is silent and quiet at the midnight but he Buddhists and living beings are still on line. 为师温慰心赞叹，精进勇猛非一般。
〇sifu is gratified and giving praise to you. Your courage and diligence is not common. 同心同波同渊源，手手相牵心心连。
We come from the same source with the same mind and the same wave, let us be hand-in-hand and heart-in-heart.
心心相应同归元，圆融圆通佛性天。
Return to origin together with minds responsive to each other. Return to Buddha nature's heaven with smooth integration and harmony.
今日付汝秘密言，能否接法自心〇。
Today the secret messages are reveal to you, Whether you can understand and accept them or not depends on if you can make your own minds to achieve 〇.

Heart can talk.
心的话语 就是 自然流露
Heart’s talk is natural outpouring.

Heart’s talk is revealing true affection.

Heart’s talk is revealing self nature.
心的话语 就是 本原流露
Heart’s talk is revealing original source.
心的话语 就是 智慧流露
Heart’s talk is revealing wisdom.

Heart’s talk is revealing Buddha Nature.
眼睛也会说话
Eyes can also speak.
眼睛话语 就是 天真
The language of eyes is innocent.
眼睛话语 就是 无邪
The language of eyes is naïve.

The language of eyes is of purification.
眼睛话语 就是纯善
The language of eyes is of pure kindness.
眼睛话语 就是 纯真
The language of eyes is of pure sincerity.

The human ears can also speak.

妙语不悟是凡心，

A mind doesn’t realize a bon mot is a secular heart.
Contemplating the oneness of everything, all are my body.

不可执著追求神通。
Don’t cling to or pursue supernatural powers.
很多人卡在通灵关、通神关、神通关，上不去了。最终沦为魔怪精气的工具、奴隶。很可怜。
Many people have been stuck in the barrier of telepathize, the barrier of psychic, the barrier of supernatural powers and cannot uplift, and were reduced to tools and slaves of the demons and monsters eventually.
很多根基很好的人、有来历的人，因为执著追求神通、贪求名闻利养，最终功亏一篑，堕入魔窟。
Many people who have good foundation and outstanding backgrounds, because of persistence and pursuit of supernatural powers, and desire for fames and wealth, they failed for lack of a final effort and fallen into the demon’s caves eventually..
邪教 是魔子魔孙、精怪为乱法而传，众弟子一定要远离邪教。
The heresy was disseminated by the demons and goblins to disturb the Proper Dharma, so all the disciples should keep away from it.
修学 正信佛法，道心坚固，不受魔扰。加持楞严咒，日益重要。
Cultivate and practice the proper Buddha Dharma with a strong and firm mind. Avoid the demonic disturbances. Keep reciting more of the Shurangama Mantra has become increasingly important.
以戒为师
以佛为师
以经为师
Take the precepts as your master.
Regard the Buddhas as your master.
Look the sutras as your master.
邪教、外道、小法小术 害人至深。
The heresy, heretics, and the small magic arts bring about dreadful harm to people.
有弟子问：
持楞严咒的修行者，就可以确保走上正法大道了吗，师父？
Some disciple asked: those practitioners who hold the Shurangama Mantra can ensure them to step onto the Great Way of Proper Dharma, Master?
师父：仅仅持 楞严咒 还不够。
Osifu：Only holding Shurangama Mantra is not enough.
“不著相 不动心”才是必胜法宝。
“Detaching from the outer forms, and staying away from temptation” is the real magic weapon.
追求外相、追求神通、追求感应、追求五欲六尘、追求名闻利养，那是魔王最开心的事。
Pursuing the outer forms, supernatural powers, responding, the fives desires and the six senses, as well as fame and wealth, which are the happiest things for the demon kings.
魔子魔孙，不费吹灰之力，就把很多修行人、佛子打垮了。
The demons and their followers have broken down a lot of Buddhism practitioners and Buddhists as easy as blow off the dust.
有弟子问： 师父，谈起来金刚经，弟子有个疑问，
金刚经四句偈，释迦佛的本意究竟是哪四句？
Some disciples asked: Master, talking about the Diamond Sutra, I have a question about the four-line stanza of the Diamond Sutra, which four four-line stanza is the exact intention of the Buddha Sakyamuni?
师父：弟子啊，问了一个最聪明的问题。也是一个最笨的问题。
Osifu: My disciple! You have asked a smartest question but also the silliest one.
说你聪明，是因为，释迦佛就没点明哪四句偈。你却让师父说。
Saying you are smart is because that the Buddha Sakyamuni did not point out which of the four-line stanza, but you asked Osifu to talk about it.
说你笨，是因为，有佛子都悟到了，你还有疑。
Saying you are silly is because some of the disciples have understood that but you still have question about it.
《偈答无碍》

心经本一体，经心本无二
经自佛心出，如何分四偈
犹如长江水，渴者一瓢饮。
汝说哪一瓢，能解渴者需？
释迦传妙法，妙法以筏喻。
筏子本无相，能度生死海。
无我修善法，直取大自在。
释迦雷音在，此偈答无碍。

A gatha to answer the question raised by Wu Ai

Mind and sutra are actually one entity, while sutra and mind are actually not different.
Sutra was delivered by the Buddha mind, how to divide it into four-line stanza?
Like the Yangtze River water, a thirsty man drinks a ladle of the water.
Can you tell which ladle of water can relieve the needs of the thirsty man?
The Buddha Sakyamuni transmitted the wonderful Dharma, which was compared to a craft.
The craft is actually without any forms but can send people across the waters of birth and death.
Cultivate the kind Dharma with non-self and directly attain the great freedom and liberation.
The thunder sound of the Buddha Sakyamuni is still there, and this gatha is to answer the question raised by Wu Ai.
A gatha is written for the disciples and predestined friends to study and reflect.
2010-03-03晚上师父开示：

有弟子问：师父，什么是定呀？定中又是如何？无定又是如何？
Some disciples asked: Master, what is Samadhi? What happens if one is in Samadhi? What does it like if no Samadhi?
师父：外不著相谓之禅。内不动心谓之定。
Osifu: Detaching from the outer form is Zen, while keeping inner mind firm and unmoving is Samadhi.
一弟子：原来禅与定是两嘛事呀。
Some disciple said: it turned out that Zen and Samadhi are two different matters.
师父：不是两回事，一体的。
Osifu: They aren’t two different matters but the same one.
苦也甜,甜也苦
There is bitterness in sweetness, while there is also sweetness in bitterness.
苦尽甘来终有日
All sufferings will have their rewards one day.
众生苦则师苦
Osifu feels painful when the sentient beings are in sufferings.
众生甜师亦苦
Osifu also feels painful when the sentient beings are in sweetness.
众生无甜苦，师亦无甜苦。
All the sentient beings are neither in sufferings nor sweetness, then Osifu also neither in sufferings nor sweetness.
弟子啊 不要 与魔相应，不想魔、不谈魔、不畏魔。
My disciples! Don’t respond to the demons, don’t think of demons, don’t talk about demons, and don’t afraid of demons.
有弟子：‘法难" 是什么 师父 怎么才能拯救 法难？弟子愿为法难挑担
Some disciples asked: what is “calamity for the Dharma”? Master, how to deal with it? I’m willing to do something to avoid it.
师父：‘法难" ，呵呵. 为什么问这个问题？
Osifu: “calamity for the Dharma”, ahah. Why you asked for this?
法难 因缘而生 因缘而灭。
The ‘calamity for the Dharma’ is raised by karma and it is exterminated by karma.
为什么 问 这个问题？
Why you asked for it?
佛子志气大，发心护正法
魔怪无需怕，自性自当家。
佛教若有难，也是因缘现。
调整复本原，也是法自然。
The Buddhist has a big ambition and intent to protect and support the Proper Dharma.
Unnecessary to be afraid of demons and let your True Nature guides
you.
If the Buddhism has calamities, that is also because of karma.
To make adjustment and restore it to comply with the original Buddha Teachings, which is also the nature of it.
随缘吧。
Let it be.
一切皆有因缘
Everything has its own karma.
一切皆有机缘
Everything runs on its own orbit.
《修行者》一书，魔性太强，太深入，很多人都难以自拔、难以自救。

佛子 第一步目标 断恶
佛子 第二步目标 修善
佛子 第三步目标 净心
妙明真心 是自然显发的。
修不修，你都有 妙明真心。
修不修，你都有佛性。
 Disciples! The first step is to cut off doing evil deeds.
 Disciples! The second step is to nurture conducting good deeds.
 Disciples! The third step is to purify your mind.
Profoundly enlightened mind functions naturally.
Cultivate or not, you have it all the same.
Cultivate or not, you still have the Buddha nature.
若说见性，人人时时处处能见。
Talking about discovering one’s Buddha Nature, everybody could have discovered it at any time anywhere.
若说明心，人人时时处处能明。
Talking about understanding one’s true mind, everybody could have understood it at any time anywhere.
明心见性不难，当下承当不易。
Understanding the true mind and discovering the Buddha Nature is not difficult, but recognizing it at the NOW moment is not easy.
明心见性不难，直取菩提不易。
Understanding the true mind and discovering the Buddha Nature is not difficult, but attaining the Bodhi fruit directly is not easy.

有缘人 ：请问师父空性和觉性怎么理解？
Some predestined friends asked: Master please, how to understand the nature of emptiness and awareness?
师父 :这个问题，无须我回答。你回头看看师父刚做的开示，自己悟一悟。
Osifu: as for this question, Osifu doesn’t need to answer. You go back to the teachings that Osifu has just given then think and reflect yourself.
有弟子:师父 我本具足万能 为何我只能搬柴运水？ 却不能搬动日月呢？
Some disciple asked: Master, I am endowed with all powers but why I can only move firewood or carry water? Why I cannot move the sun or the moon?
佛子 你可悟到：
日月星辰同吾身，
山河大地同吾身。
宇宙万有同吾身，
有情无情同吾身。
Buddhist disciples! Have you ever realized?
The sun, the moon and the stars are the same body as mine, and mountains, rivers and earth are the same body as mine.
Everything in the entire Universe is the same body as mine, and all the sentient or non-sentient beings are the same body as mine.
规律法则同吾身，

一切本来 圆融无碍 无分无别
Everything is actually in harmony and Perfection without discrimination and differentiation.
日月无需人来搬，
周天运行任自然。
规律法则莫触犯，
谁人触犯谁人还。
The sun and the moon don’t need anybody to move them.
The heaven motion is natural.
Never violate the laws and rules.
Whoever offends it and he has to pay for it.
一切问题的根源：我执、妄想、分别。
The source for all the problems lies in the self attachment, delusions and differentiation.
解决一切问题的办法：破我执
The method to solve all the problems: break self attachment.
药方：回心向善 回心向佛。
Prescription: tune one’s mind to goodness, and tune one’s mind to practice in manner of the Buddha.
还有一个药方，至简至难。呵呵
There is another prescription, the easiest and the most difficult. Ahah
那就是：师父心咒
That is: Osifu’s heart mantra.
要给佛法 正本清源 可不容易
It is not easy to restore the Buddha Dharma to its original true color.
所以为师当机开示 留下一些偈子 供众弟子有缘人参悟。便于 直指人心 破迷开悟
So Osifu has given teachings according to situations and has written some gathas for the disciples and predestined friends to study and reflect in order to direct them to their minds and help them to get out of the illusions and attain enlightenment.
但 众弟子有缘人 切记：
道不在语言上
法不在偈语中
行间无雷音，
字字燃心灯。
But all the disciples and predestined friends have to keep in mind:
The Way cannot be defined by languages.
Dharma does not lie in gathas.
There is no thunder sounds between lines.
But every word serves to light up minds.

When one has a pure mind he is in a pure land, and all under the Heaven is at peace and harmony.
To come is the destiny.
To stay, feel peace and easy.
To leave, just let it go.
为师的父亲 是 肺癌 去世的。师父经历此生离死别，悟透了很多很多。
Osifu’s father died of lung cancer. Osifu has gone through the sorrow of death separation and has realized a lot from it.
为了给父亲治病，师父不惜一切代价。
In order to cure father’s disease, Osifu had tried his best at all costs.
为师的父亲，后期 靠 麻醉药止痛，师父 看着 非常痛苦。
Osifu’s father relied on narcotic painkillers in his late days and Osifu was very painful when seen that.
短短几月，父亲因化疗，头发变白，脱落。
瘦骨嶙峋，其状为师现在仍历历在目。
In just a few months, father’s hair turned white and off because of the chemotherapy, and father’s bony and skinny image is still so vivid to me.
为师 悟到了：老苦、病苦、死苦、爱别离苦、五阴盛苦、求不得苦。
Osifu has realized the suffering of aging, suffering of illness, suffering of death, suffering from the separation with loved ones, suffering from the five Skandhas and suffering of failure to gain.
父亲病故后，为师很久都接受不了这个事实。
After father died of disease, in a long time Osifu could not accept the fact.
有时甚至，以为 父亲 没有死。
Sometimes, Osifu even thought that father had not died.
有时，做梦，父亲 从 坟墓里 活生生的走了出来。
Sometimes, in the dreams, father came out of the grave alive.
为师 和父亲 有 很深的缘。
Osifu has very deep connection with his father.
记得有一次，父亲做 鼻息肉 手术。父亲在手术台做手术，为师在外面等候。鼻子里面一直疼，直到手术结束。
Osifu remembered once when father had a nasal polyp surgery. Father was having the surgery on the operating table, while Osifu was waiting outside the operation chamber but his nose had been in pain until the end of father’s surgery.
通过 为师 父亲 的 病故，为师 悟到了很多很多
Through father’s death and disease, Osifu has realized a lot from it.
为师幼年家庭极为贫困，父母皆是文盲，目不识丁。造下 种种杀业，而又没能听闻佛法，不知杀生业重。
Osifu’s family was extremely poor in his early age, and both parents are illiterate.
They’ve made all kinds of killing karma, no chance to listen to the Buddha Dharma and were unaware of the severeness of killing karma.
因此杀业，父亲受此罪报。也给为师上了一堂最生动的 因缘果报 课。
为师悟到：因缘果报丝毫不爽。
Due to the killing karma, father received the retribution brought about by that, which also gave Osifu the most vivid lesson on karma and retribution.
Osifu has realized: karma and retribution is definitely real.
父亲，即亡，堕入神道。神道受供，也是逍遥。
父亲大人，愿力不大，只求与神朋仙友，把酒言欢，落个自由。
后经开示，佛力加持，渐次精进，辗转天道，求生净土。
Father fell into the realm of deity right after his death. The living beings in the realm of deity enjoy offerings, so it is also free and easy.
Father didn’t have greater vows but only wished to live in freedom and hang around with deities or fairy friends drinking and laughing together.
After hearing teachings and receiving blessing from Buddha power, he gradually worked more diligently. He was reborn to the Heaven later and made his mind to be reborn in pure land.
佛力不敌业
神通不敌业
法力不敌业
Powers of the Buddhas cannot change one’s karma.
Theurgy cannot change one’s karma.
Supernatural powers cannot change one’s karma.
弟子 既要透过 也要 悟透。
All the disciples should go through all obstacles completely but also have to understand them thoroughly.
赞叹弟子 发愿，但愿乘愿再来，而不求轮回。
Osifu praises disciple’s great vow, seek for returning to the mundane land by vows but not seek for samsara.
众弟子切记：不可随便发愿。
All disciples please keep in mind: don’t make vows arbitrarily.
发愿 也是 要落因果的。
Vows also bring about karma and retribution.
愿不可轻发，
Don’t make vows easily.
缘不可轻结。
Don’t make conections to anybody easily.
西藏 好像 流传一句话。
There seems a popular saying in Tibet.
一个人才出生的时候，所有的人都在笑，可他（她）自己却在哭。
一个人才死亡的时候，所有的人都在哭，可他（她）自己却在笑。
When one was born that all the people are laughing, but he or she is crying.
When one died that all the people are crying, but he or she is laughing.
生，并不可喜；死，并不可悲。
Birth is not encouraging, while death is not lamentable.
这是透过生死者，对生死的态度。
This is his attitude towards birth and death, who has gone through birth and death.
佛性 不生不灭。
死的只是 色身。
The Buddha Nature is neither born nor dying.
What has passed away is just the physical body.
妙心无相
法不外求
妙心具足
佛性具足
A marvelous mind is free from any form.
Do not seek Dharma out of one’s mind.
A marvelous mind is endowed with everything.
Buddha Nature is endowed with everything.
你修不修、证不证，妙明真心都是不生不灭。
在圣不增，在凡不减。
No matter you practice or not, realize or not, the profoundly enlightened mind is always neither born nor dying.
It neither increases if you are a saint, nor decreases if you are a mortal.

初二就要立春了，春天就在眼前。
The February 2nd is the beginning of spring, and the spring is just around the corner.
四季更替
循道而行
The shifting of seasons comply with the Way！
我们是大道行者，也是循道而行。
We are practitioners of the Great Way, and we also have to practice complying with the Way.
今晚是除夕夜，我们一起守岁吧！
Tonight is the New Year’s Eve, and let’s stay up together!
共同迎接，新的一年的到来！
To greet and welcome the arrival of the New Year together!
祝福大家新的一年里：

刚又看了会儿春晚
Osifu has just watched the Spring Festival television programs for a while.
少儿歌舞《爱我你就抱抱我》，孩子们纯真天真，真好。
Children dance “If Love Me Please Hug Me”, the children are innocent and naive, and that is really good!
妄心生烦恼呀！
A delusional mind nurtures annoyance!
心地纯净，处处皆净土呀！
A pure mind regards every corner as a pure land.
师父每年除夕都会守岁。
Osifu stays up at every New Year’s Eve.
过了除夕十二点后，新年到来后才会休息。
Osifu goes for rest only after Twelve o’clock at each New Year’s Eve.
我国民间在除夕有守岁的习惯。守岁从吃年夜饭开始，这顿年夜饭要慢慢地吃，从掌灯时分入席，有的人家一直要吃到深夜。根据宗懔《荆楚岁时记》的记载，至少在南北朝时已有吃年夜饭的习俗。
Staying up at New Year’s Eve is a folk custom among the people in our country. Staying-up starts from the beginning of the New Year’s Eve dinner. People have to have the dinner slowly, they take a seat from the time when the light is on and some families even have the dinner till midnight. According to the records in Jing Chu Chronicle by Zong Lin, there has been the folk custom to eat New Year’s Eve Dinner since at least the Northern and Southern Dynasties.
守岁的习俗，既有对如水逝去的岁月含惜别留恋之情，又有对来临的新年寄以美好希望之意。古人在一首《守岁》诗中写道：“相邀守岁阿戎家，蜡炬传红向碧纱；三十六旬都浪过，偏从此夜惜年华。”。
The folk custom of staying-up has a lingering feeling of reluctance to part the old times that has passed away like flowing water, also has the meaning of good hopes for the incoming New Year. The ancients said in a poem “Staying Up”: “Being invited to stay up on the New Year’s Eve at A-Rong’s, and the candle casted red light to the blue curtain. The Thirty-six years in the past has been idled way but decided to cherish time since tonight. ”
珍惜年华是人之常情，故大诗人苏轼写下了《守岁》名句：“明年岂无年，心事恐蹉跎；努力尽今夕，少年犹可夸！”由此可见除夕守岁的积极意义。
Cherishing the time is natural and normal. So the great poet Su Shi wrote the famous poem“ Staying Up” saying: “There will be always another year after the next year, but still fear of idling the time away in mind. Just work hard from tonight, only the juveniles can boast (that they have plenty of time) ” which has showed the positive significance of the staying up at the New Year’s Eve.
年三十守岁，俗名"熬年"。为什么称作"熬年"呢？民间世世代代流传着这么一个有趣的故事：相传，在远古的洪荒时代，有一种凶恶的怪兽，人们叫他"年"。
Staying up at the New Year’s Eve has a common name “Ao Nian”. Why it was called “Ao Nian”? There was an interesting story passed down from generation to generation among the people. It says: according to a legend, in the prehistoric ancient times, there was a ferocious monster, and people called him “Nian”.
每到大年三十晚上，年兽就要从海里爬出来伤害人畜，毁坏田园，降灾于辛苦了一年的人们。
At every New Year’s Eve, the monster “Nian” would creep out of the sea to harm people and animals, destroy the crops fields and brought disasters to people who just had a tough year.
人们为了躲避年兽，腊月三十晚上，天不黑就早早关紧大门，不敢睡觉，坐等天亮，为消磨时光，也为壮胆，他们就喝酒。
To get rid of the monster “Nian,” people usually shut their door early at the New Year’s Eve and did not dare to sleep but sat there waiting for the dawn. In order to kill the time and as well as embolden themselves, they drank.
等年初一早晨年兽不再出来，才敢出门。人们见面互相拱手作揖，祝贺道喜，庆幸没被年兽吃掉，这样过了好多年，没出什么事情，人们对年兽放松了警惕。
They dared to go out till the first day of the New Year that the monster Nian no longer came out. People met each other making a bow with hands folded in front and expressed congratulations that they were fortunately not eaten by the monster Nian. So several years had passed that way and nothing bad had happened, people relaxed their vigilance to the monster Nian.
就在有一年三十晚上，年兽突然窜到江南的一个村子里，一村子人几乎被年兽吃光了，只有一家挂红布帘、穿红衣的新婚小两口平安无事。
At the New Year’s Eve of one year, the monster Nian jumped into a village in the south of the lower reaches of Yangtze River. People in the village had almost eaten up by the monster, only a newly-married couple wore red clothes and had red curtains hanging at home was safe.
还有几个童稚，在院里点了一堆竹子在玩耍，火光通红，竹子燃烧后"啪啪"地爆响，年兽转到此处，看见火光吓得掉头逃窜。
There were a few children lighting a bunch of bamboo, playing in the yard, and the flame of the fire was red and the burning of the bamboo blew up in “snapping” sound, the monster Nian went there but was scared by the fire and fled.
此后，人们知道年兽怕红、怕光、怕响声，每至年末岁首，家家户户就贴红纸、穿红袍、挂红灯、敲锣打鼓、燃放爆竹，这样年兽就不敢再来了。
Since then, people knew that the monster Nian was afraid of red color, light and loud noise, so at the end or the beginning of each year , every family would paste red paper, wear red robes, hang red lights, beat gongs and drums, and set off firecrackers, so the monster Nian would not dare to come again.
在《诗经•小雅.庭燎》篇中，就有“庭燎之光”的记载。所谓“庭燎”就是用竹竿之类制作的火炬，竹竿燃烧后，竹节里的空气膨胀，竹腔爆裂，发出噼噼啪啪的响声，这也即是“爆竹”的由来。
In the “Book of Poetry• Xiao Ya• Ting Liao”, there are records of “the light of “Ting Liao”. The so called “Ting Liao” is a torch made of bamboo poles. When burn the bamboo, the air in the bamboo expanded and the bamboo cavity burst out with snapping sound, which was the origin of the “firecrackers.”
可是有的地方，村民不知年兽怕红，常常被年兽吃掉。这事后来传到天上的紫微星那儿，他为了拯救人们，决心消灭年兽。
But in some places, the villagers didn’t know the monster Nian fearing red color, and were often eaten by the monster Nian. This matter was known by the Purple Forbidden Enclosure Star in the Heaven, and he determined to destroy the monster Nian in order to save people.
有一年，他待年兽出来时，就用火球将它击倒，再用粗铁链将它锁在石柱上。从此，每到过年，人们总要烧香，请紫微星下界来保平安。
One year, when the monster Nian came out, he struck it down with a fireball and then locked it beside a stone pillar with thick iron chain. From then on, at every New Year, people always burned incense praying for the Purple Star to descend to protect people’s security and peace.
在这“一夜连双岁，五更分二年”的晚上，家人团圆，欢聚一堂。全家人围坐在一起，茶点瓜果放满一桌。大年摆供，苹果一大盘是少不了的，这叫作"平平安安"。
At the night of “One night connects two years or the fives periods of one night connects two yeas”, the families gathered and enjoyed a happy reunion. The whole family sits together around a table full of refreshments and fruits.
As for the offerings for the New Year, a big plate of apple is indispensable, which is called “safe and peace”.
在北方，有的人家还要供一盆饭，年前烧好，要供过年，叫作"隔年饭"，是年年有剩饭，一年到头吃不完，今年还吃昔年粮的意思。
In the North, some family will offer a pot of rice made earlier for the New Year’s Eve , which is called“Leftovers for New Year”, meaning there will be leftovers for the next year or every year, or meaning there will be more than enough to eat throughout the year, and they will eat the grains left from the previous year.
这盆隔年饭一般用大米和小米混合起来煮，北京俗话叫“二米子饭”，是为了有黄有白，这叫作“有金有银，金银满盆”的“金银饭”。
The pot of leftover is generally made of a mixture of rice and millet, which was called “rice made of two grains” in Beijing slang. It is for the purpose to have two colors of yellow and white, which is called “Gold and Silver Rice” meaning “there will be gold and silver, or bowl full of gold and silver”.
不少地方在守岁时所备的糕点瓜果， 都是想讨个吉利的口彩：吃枣（春来早），吃柿饼（事事如意）吃杏仁（幸福人），吃长生果（长生不老），吃年糕（一年比一年高）。
In many places, people prepare cakes and fruits for the staying-up at the New Year’s Eve , which are all for the purpose of lucky speeches such as eating dates(the spring comes early), eating dried persimmons( all the best), eating almonds(happy people), eating longevity fruits (immortality), eating rice cakes(everything gets better year after year).
除夕之夜，一家老小，边吃边乐，谈笑畅叙。也有的俗户人家推牌九，掷骰子，赌梭哈，打麻将，喧哗笑闹之声汇成了除夕欢乐的高潮。
At the New Year’s Eve, the whole families enjoy eating and chatting cheerfully. There are also some common families playing Paijiu, dice, betting on Stud and playing Mahjong together with the noise and laughter that has formed the climax of joys at the New Year’s Eve.
普天下人都盼望着新年零点的到来。
The whole world is looking forward the arrival of zero o’clock of the New Year.
今天也会陪大家过除夕、守岁，共同迎接新的一年的到来。
Today Osifu will also accompany each of you to spend the New Year’s Eve, stay up together to welcome the arrival of the New Year.
时间是虚幻的。
Time is illusory.
空间是虚幻的。
Space is illusory.
业力牵着众生走
Only karma leads the sentient beings.
我们要时刻清净身语意三业。
We should always purify our bodies, speeches and minds, the three karma incubators.
希望大家排除万难 排除干扰 排除障碍 抓住当下勇猛精进！
Hope each of you removes all the difficulties, obstacles, and seize the present moment to practice diligently!
修行是多生历劫的积累，扎扎实实实修亲证、积功累德、勤除习气、逐步圆满。不要有一蹴而就的想法！
The self-cultivation is the accumulation from the countless past eons, only solid and steady practice and self-verification, accumulation of virtues and merits and removing bad habits diligently will you gradually achieve your goals successfully. Get rid of the idea of quick accomplishment!
哦，已经过十一点了，子时了，新年已经到来了，真好！
Oh, it is already 23:00 o’clock in midnight. The New Year is coming, wonderful!

The Lotus Flowers Spreading Fragrance in the Lotus Pond

Bid farewell the old and usher in the new, watching the mundane world.
The Xin Mao Lunar Year is coming at the appointed and expectant time. The practitioner doesn’t concern the world affairs.
But watch with smile the lotus flowers spreading fragrance in the lotus pond.

Silent without Its Own Voices

The Zero o’clock is coming quietly.
There is neither ending nor beginning for the time.
Sitting in motionless one may travel along the world by eighty thousand li a day.

Reborn in the Pure Land

Firecrackers outside the window shock the sky.
While dragons flying over the Divine Land( a poetic name of China), and everything today is better than that of ancient times.
Please let your true mind be the master of you since everything is undertaking rapid changes.
Only when your mind is as pure as a Buddha’s will you bring about the chance to reborn in the pure land.

Each layer of the high dimensional heaven is each layer of illusion.
A test of difficulties and hardships is a refinement.
The real gold will be born out of the Saha furnace.

It Takes Time

The practitioner has no intentions to watch the lotus pond.
There are some lotuses shining light while there are also some lotuses passing away.
Only after gone through all kinds of experiences in the Saha land can one take the real gold out of the waves.
Myriad hammering and hardening takes time.

The practitioner doesn’t do anything while the boat sails across the vast waters itself.
Watch neither the limitless eons nor the emptiness.

Keep unmoving in suchness and meanwhile put the great vows into practice with strong faiths.
