Gold lotus is born in burning fire

师父曾经多次开示有几种人不适合修炼：
Master has discoursed many times that those people were not suitable for esoteric
method cultivation:
1、精神病和神经症患者不可修炼。父母或祖上有此类疾病者也要谨慎。
1. The insane and neuropathy patients can't cultivate this method. Parents or ancestors had such
kinds of illnesses should be cautious as well.
2、受过强烈精神刺激且留下严重阴影者不可修炼，如婚姻、暴力、灾难等。
2. The one has experienced strongly psychological trauma and remains seriously mental shadow
can't cultivate this method, such traumas
resulting from bad marriage, violence, disasters and so on.
3、心智不健全者不可修炼。
3. The one who is mentally defective can't cultivate this method.
4、业障深重者不可修炼。
4. Those accumulated heavy sinful karma can't cultivate this method.
5、附体者不可修炼。避免被借体修炼，汲取修炼者的能量。
5. The one invaded and occupied by invisible beings can't cultivate
this method, so as to avoid being used for their cultivation and being drew
energy by them.
6、身语意不清净者不可修炼。必须做到心正、心诚、心善、心净、与佛相应，与道相合。
6. The one whose bodies, speeches and minds are not pure can't
cultivate this method. Mind must be must be virtuous, faithful, benevolent, pure, resonate with
Buddha and comply with the Way.
7、追求贪求神通、感应、境界者不可修炼。否则会招来魔扰。
7. The one who pursues theurgy,
telepathy and spiritual state can't cultivate this method. Otherwise demon's
disturbance will called in.
8、迷信怪力乱神、魑魅魍魉、精怪神鬼、小法小术者不可修炼。
8. The one is superstitiously believe extraordinary
things, demons and monsters, ghosts-gods and magic arts can't cultivate this
method.
9、身体主要器官有严重疾病者不可修炼。
9. The one whose major organs of body have serious illness can't
cultivate the method.
10、善根、福德、因缘不具备者不可修炼。
10. The one who doesn't possess good roots, blessedness and causal
connections can't cultivate the method.
列举以上十种人不可或谨慎步入修炼。否则，后果很严重。
Ten kinds of people listed above can't step into cultivation, or
must be cautious to do so. Otherwise, the result is extremely serious.
其实这十种人实则究其根源皆是因为因果。
In fact, tracing back to the original reasons，it can be concluded that those ten kinds of people are not
fitting for cultivation because of their karma.
过去世及今生今世的因果业障叠加在一起，障碍其净化、升华、提升、解脱
Karmic obstacles of previous life time and this lifetime accumulated
and became the stumbling block of purification, promotion, and enhancement， and they are also hindrances for final complete freedom.
此十种人即使修学显法，诸如念佛，诵经，持咒，打坐也会出问题。
Those ten kinds of people will also have troubles even though they cultivate
exoteric Buddhism, such as chanting the
name of Buddha, reciting sutras, upholding mantra and meditation.
师父看到太多的学佛人陷入了困境。
Master has seen too much Buddhism learners plunged into the mire.
这一切皆是自己的业障感召的。
All these are caused by their karmic obstacles.
这一切皆是自己的因果感召的。
All these are caused by their causations and effects.
这一切皆是自己的因缘感召的。
All these are caused by their karma.
这一切皆是自己的妄心感召的。
All these are caused by their false thinking minds.
这一切皆是自己的妄想、分别、执著感召的。
All these are caused by their false thoughts, differentiating and attachment.
一切问题的根源皆在心。
The root of every problem rests in mind.
解决一切问题的办法皆在心。
The way to solve all problems rests upon minds.
师父常说：心转一切皆转。
Master often says: Heart changes, and everything changes.
师父常说：回心向善、回心向佛是解决一切问题的最好的办法。
Master often says: To change mind to kind-hearted one, and to change mind to take
refuge from Buddha is the best way to solve all problems.
师父常说：回心向善方能救命，回心向佛方能解脱。
Master often says: Changing mind to kind-hearted one and your life
can be saved. Changing mind to take refuge from Buddha, and you can obtain
superior freedom.
师父常说：抓住每一个当下，时时观照自心，清净身语意三业。
Master often says: Grasp every NOW moment and examine your mind,
purifying three karmic sources: body, speech and mind.
师父常说：时时与佛相应，时时得佛加持。
Master often says: You
will be charged up with high-frequency energy if you can resonate with high
frequencies.
师父常说：相应是修心修行修炼的关键。相应出了问题，修心修行修炼就会出大问题。
Master often says: Resonating is the keyword of cultivation. If
resonating goes wrong, there will be serious trouble on cultivation.
师父常说：正诚善净与佛相应这是心法、密钥、关键。
Master often says: It's the mind method, secret key and crux that
cultivating mind to be virtuous, faithful, benevolent, pure and resonating with Buddha.
修心修行修炼不可儿戏，希望你们一定按照师父的教导去做，不可擅自妄为。
Cultivation can't be regarded as trifling matter. I hope you follow
my teachings completely. Don't act recklessly by yourselves.
若暂时做不到，就不要急于修炼。
Don't be anxious to cultivate this method if you can't manage to do
it temporarily.
不要轻易步入修心修行修炼之路，此路磨难重重，远比唐玄奘西天取经艰难。
Don't step into the way of cultivation without deep thinking. This
way is full of sufferings and far more difficult than Hsuan Tsang's pilgrimage
to the west heaven for Buddhist sutra.
“烈火之中生金莲”说到容易，做到难呀！
"Gold lotus is born in burning fire". It's easier said than done.
淘汰率太高！
The rate of elimination is too high!
大浪淘沙 浪里淘金，淘汰的让师父心痛，让佛菩萨含泪。
Great waves sweep away sand and gold. The
elimination made me heartbreaking, and made Buddha and Bodhisattvas tears in eyes.
有时候师父观照普通人，稀里糊涂的生、稀里糊涂的活、稀里糊涂的死。反倒没有这么多磨难煎熬。
Sometimes, I watch ordinary beings born muddle headedly,
lived muddle headedly and died muddle headedly. Instead, they didn't suffer so
much.
而这些大成就者，要经历太多太多的磨难、考验、历练。
On the contrary, those great achievers have to experience far too
much sufferings, examinations, and toughening.
师父看你们受尽磨难煎熬心很痛，但这是我们成就的必经之路。
I'm really heartbreaking to see that you are subjected to all kinds
of sufferings and torments. But it's our only way which must be gone through
for achievement.
诸佛如来成就皆是多生历劫的修积。
Every Buddha's achievement is cumulative
cultivation of many eons.
诸佛如来成就皆是多生历劫的修积。
Every Buddha's achievement is cumulative
cultivation of many lifetimes.
这个修积过程，尔等无法想象，脱了多少层皮。
During the process of cumulative cultivation, you can't imagine
how many pieces of skin they have peeled.
脱胎换骨是一个何其艰辛的过程。
How difficult the process of complete change is!
看破放下是一个何其艰辛的过程。
How difficult the process of seeing through and casting off
attachment is!
呵呵
Ah!
回忆往昔苦，
Reminding of erstwhile sufferings,
心颤汗毛竖。
Heart is shivery and hairs become standing
up.
历劫菩提路，
Experiencing tremendous hardships on the Bodhi way for many eons,
丹心在玉壶。
The loyal heart is always in jade pot.
就以此偈《在玉壶》作为今日开示的结语吧。
I use this verse "In Jade Pot" as the tag of my
instruction today.
